    Sonnet For Oneself

When the moon races the sky,
    We think of things worldwide.
Thinking of those we cannot hide,
    Of emotions, trapped deep inside.

    Forgiveness blossoms from hearts
    that discover triumph in humility.
    Vendetta moulds around hearts
    Like caves plundered by brutality.

I cannot reap a soul nor weep,
as night past I shall not sleep.
For the demons wake in silent beds,
to pull all my fears and dread.

    Drop a tear,
    It releases the fear.
    Tell this to her ear,
*I'll love you till the end of years.*

If I could have my wishes,
    and if wishes do come true;
I'd wish for moon and stars,
And I'd give them all to you.

To a dead fullstop this all end,
An ending with such great bang.
She is gone and there’s no turning back.
For it is her choice and no one else.

    Since you want to leave,
    I can’t stop your tracks
As far as you can go.
    I’ll be home.
