There she was pouring coffees.
Four cups in total but entirely different from another.
Not that it mattered anyway,
friends were all there to help her with her garden
so no wonder she would not put the fine china on the table.
And as they were taking their breaks and drinking up those coffee,
she start this tale..

There was once this wise teacher who took all his students for coffee.
They were surprised that all the cups on the table were different.
They all took a cup and started drinking their coffee,
each looking at the cups of others.
The teacher let them do that for a while
and then said:

"Do you notice your behaviour?
You all are looking at each other´s coffee cup
and I can see some of you with the chipped ones
are even envious of the finer cups of others.
Is this not so?"

The students agreed,
amused of their own behavior.

"You may have wondered why you all had different cups,
but I put them here on purpose.
This represent life itself.

Life is like that coffee and the cups
are like the physical circumstances of your life.
You all got the same thing in your cups,coffee.
And yet you cannot truly enjoy it in your envy of another´s cup.

It´s just the same with life.
You forget to enjoy your own life when you concentrate
on envying the circumstances of someone else's life.
So now, close your eyes,
and taste your own coffee.
Really taste it.
And tell me this,
did it actually matter from which cup it came from?"

..She stop there.
All of them sat in silence for a while,savouring their coffee.
A sleepy fly buzzed past, a bird sang in the tree.
And it really did not matter one bit from which coffee cup they drank.

shouldn't it just be this way?
everyone to live life positively,in every way?
well,this is how I feel life should be.

Emotions are a dangerous thing. They’re like little children, innocent and naive. And when we’re in love for the first time, they run wild like children in the park on a Sunday afternoon, full of energy and vigor, boundless and unrestrained.

But if a little girl was to fall, a bad fall, no one sees this poor girl. She looks up at the other children and hears their laughter. She cries as all little girls do but she stops after awhile, not wanting to dampen the other children’s happiness. So she sits and waits, hoping for someone to help her up.

A boy came and offered his hand; she began to smile as the sadness of a child never lasts long. She takes his hand and they take a few tentative steps, but as she began to put her weight on him the boy let go and she crumpled onto the grass again. The boy laughed, for he was only a bully.

The little girl was sad, but somewhere inside her she knew it was too good to be true and shrugged it off. She rested for awhile, then limped painfully towards a tree and sat in the shade. She’s tired now and her leg hurts too much, she doesn’t want to run around in the park anymore.

The day went on and although she was still hurting, she no longer cried, just rested and waited for the pain in her leg to subside. Indeed after awhile she feels much better. She thinks she’s completely recovered. She stands up but as she tried to take a few steps on her own she crumpled like a rag doll. The little girl realizes her leg is broken. So she sits under the tree and watches the other children play. She saw some of them trip and fall and remembers her own pain. She thinks to herself, how dangerous it is to run around the park without control or restrain. She decided to build a wall around herself. She never wants to get hurt again.

She sits in her brick wall alone with her thoughts. She wonders when she’ll dare to run again, from time to time she would sit on the wall and swing her legs, trying to enjoy herself and contemplating whether she had the courage to run again. Some children came along to encourage her but each time she came close to jumping off the wall back into the playground, the memory of her fall would return and she would retreat to the inner sanctity of her tiny fortress.

So there she hid, till one day she heard some scraping noises, as if someone else was building a wall. She peered over her wall and true enough there was a little boy, building his own wall, sadness in his eyes. She wondered if he had fallen just like her, while he was running careless and free. She watches the boy complete the wall and when he did so, he peered curiously at her before disappearing behind his own wall. The little girl wondered what the boy was thinking and one day the boy called out to her from behind his wall and she replies from behind her wall.

They begin to talk, in small muffled voices at first, and then clearer, as each of them removed a brick from their respective walls. Soon they became friends, and his voice was a comfort to her. But each time she removed a new brick, the light which flooded her hiding place frightened her and she was tempted to replace it. But also, with each new brick she removed, the sounds of the other children’s laughter enticed her and she realized she wanted to run like before. But not alone lest she fall again. She wondered if the boy felt the same and thought about what she would do if the boy asked her to run with him,
again.

first and formost,

i am finally back after a week of absent from home

spending 4days at Malacca while 3days on camp.

Nevertheless i did had the best moments of 2009 during tt week

and definately a time well spent with dear clarinetists.

pop 2009 was a blast and the band truly deserve

their limelight on tt night.

from the parade all the way to butt shaking,

each and everyone of them definately

carve a sweet smile on their faces.

to the leaders,tt night was night you six

should be proud of.

and to all band members,

tt night is something to look at for the upcoming year.

school is starting and this term,

it will without a doubt the

very most busy term.

with upcoming big event with scc,

i certainly cn't afford to fall sick anytime soon.

a boy,a doll and the white rose :)

While looking in the toy section,

I noticed a small boy of about 5 years old,

pressing a doll against his chest.

He kept on touching the hair of the doll and looked so sad.

I wondered who was this doll for.

Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him and asked,

"Granny, are you sure I don't have enough money?"

The old lady replied,

"You know that you don't

have enough money to buy this doll, my dear."

Then she asked him to stay here for 5 minutes

while she went to look around.She left quickly.

The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand.

Finally,I started to walk toward him

and I asked him who did he want to give this doll to.

"It is the doll that my sister loved most

and wanted so much for this Christmas."

I replied to him that may

be Santa Claus will bring it to her and not to worry.

However,sadly the boy replied

"No,Santa Claus can not bring it to her where she is now.

I have to give the doll to my mother

so that she can give it to her when she goes there."

His eyes were so sad while saying this..

"My sister has gone to be with God.

Daddy says that Mummy will also go to see God very soon,

so I thought that mummy could bring

the doll with her to give it to my sister."

My heart nearly stopped.

The little boy looked up at me and said,

"I told daddy to tell mummy not to go yet.

I asked daddy to wait until

I come back from the supermarket."

Then he showed me a very nice photo of him

where he was laughing.He then told me,

"I also want mummy to take this photo

with her so that mummy won't forget me.

I love my mummy and

I wish she doesn't have to leave me

but daddy says that mummy has to go

to be with my little sister."

Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes.

Very quietly,I quickly reached for my wallet

and took a few notes and said to the boy,

"What if we checked again,

just in case if you have enough money?"

"Ok," he said. "I hope that I have enough."

I added some of my money to his

without him seeing and we started to count it.

There was enough for the doll,

and even some spare money.

The little boy said,

"Thank you God for giving me enough money."

Then he looked at me and added,

"I asked yesterday before

I slept for God to make sure I have

enough money to buy this doll

so that mummy can give it to my sister.

I also wanted to have enough money

to buy a white rose for my mummy

but I didn't dare to ask God too much.

A few minutes later,the old lady came again

and I left with my trolley.

I finished my shopping in a totally

different state from when I started.

I couldn't get the little boy out of my mind.

Then I remembered a local

newspaper article 2 days ago,

which mentioned of a drunk man

in a truck who hit a car

where there was one young lady and a little girl.

The little girl died right away

and the mother was left in a critical state.

The family had to decide whether to pull the plug

on the life-assisting machine

because the young lady would not

be able to get out of the coma.

Was this the family of the little boy?

Two days after this encounter with the little boy,

I read in the newspaper

that the young lady had passed away.

I couldn't stop myself and

went to buy a bunch of white roses

and I went to the mortuary

where the body of the young woman

was exposed for people to see and make last wish before burial.

She was there in her coffin,

holding a beautiful white rose in her hand

with the photo of the little boy

and the doll placed over her chest.

The love that this little boy had

for his mother and his sister is still,

to that day,lingers.

ps:in life,we often waste too much time
worrying on things that we have no control over.

Today is August the 8th and tml shall mark the 44th birthday of Singapore.ok, happy birthday Sg.May the country continue to prosperous and feed her schooling teens with unlimited stress and pressure.

Believe me when i say this,as we get older, people will think only for themselves and selfishness is the ONLY key to success.Truth to be told,this is what i have been going through for the past weeks.Sorry for leaving this dear page of mine for quite awhile but i had no other options.I was hold back and shagged enough from never-ending assignments and projects.I am trying my best here not to sound pathetic but i do not think of an excuse to cover up this deed.Well,supper at 3am and only to sleep at 6am.Those days were spend at school whereas none of us went back home to sleep and we actually had lunch,breakfast,dinner,sleep,supper,bath and ‘all you can think of’ all in school.We didn’t practically ton but we spend 3 days 3 nights in there,finishing up all assignments/projects.and yes,we are mad.oh yes,we made it.

Jj.maybe this is yet a rebound thingin,but perhaps its not.that gigigaga feeling at every sight,only hafiz understand it all.and yes,out of all craziness n bold reactions,for this one i have yet to even put a smile up front.not mentioning talking to but upon sight,i shivers.Ok maybe not shivers,but i’ll be seen showing those moves.k this is crazy but i shall make this a truthful dare,kar i will take the risk and i think you should too.from me to ________ little miss shy.

Tanabata is a Japanese star festival.

derived from the Chinese star festival Qi Xi,
It celebrates the meeting of Orihime and Hikoboshi .

The Milky Way,a river made from stars that crosses the sky,

separates these lovers,

and they are allowed to meet

only once a year at night on the

seventh day of the seventh lunar month

which is the 7 night of July.

THOSE TEARS

two little teardrops were floating down the river of life.
One drop said to the other,
"I am the teardrop of a guy who loved a girl and lost her."
who are you?
"Well, I am the teardrop of the guy who won her."

love is very strange.

love is unconditional commitment to an imperfect individual.

you need it but when loved,

it's like destining yourself in getting hurt.

you become strong and at the same time,

you open yourself up to being hurt.

love can make you bear any

kind of pain and any kind of sacrifice.

but it can nevertheless

make you feel stupid and act stupidly.

when you love and end up giving so much of yourself,

subconsciously you will only discover how much you've given

when the person you love hurts you or has to say goodbye.

then you realize,
an important part of yourself is already with that person.
it goes away when someone leave and
you are left with a sickening, empty feeling inside.

tears are bound to shed from the eyes no matter

how you force yourself to keep them in.
most teardrops ever shed on this earth

have been for love or lack of it.
and honestly without fail,
when it drys up,
there will be this tiny little silent loss

which sticks to your heart for a very long,long time.

out to celebrate Afiq's bdae together
with some of the bandmates.
we had loads of fun in train,titanic n at Bugis.
Dhai with her forever "eh,aku tk sedap hati ah"
n uin's "jumpjump" joke,
kecoh beb kecoh.
we had fun ^^

16/6
-slept at 3 am.
-woke up at 4pm.
-eat n den bathed.
-played psp,watched tv.
-nap from 5pm onwards.
-woke up at 8pm
-eat
-msn
-at 1am,
here i am blogging.

holidays are holidays,
it is the only period of time
where you can slack,
wake up very late like nobody business
and not being bothered about any school related matters.

ps:tml is scc very own sports day,
oh i can't wait.

reached home awhile ago n here i am after bathing.
Malicious Revolution
i had a wild evening over at Gossip Bar.
crowd were chaotic n the bands were great.
tbs did a great job today :)
had dinner with tbs n kambing's mum.
feast at burger king,shopped at plaza sing right after tt.

and with that;
wishlist number 9. is out
8 more to go ^^

ps:with the happenings around me,
i certainly choose not to get myself involve in,
just not yet.
